A commercial vehicle over 3500kg Design Gross Vehicle Weight must have a speed limiter fitted and calibrated correctly. The maximum legal setting for a speed limitation device is 90 km/h. After calibrating the speed limiter a plaque will be fitted to your vehicle. Your Speed Limiter must be working correctly in order to pass the CVRT.
